Why would CaixaBank give you the silent treatment?

Moneygrabbers has spent some considerable time wondering about the reasons for Mr Iván Masip’s silence. In all honesty, it makes very little sense to us.

The CaixaBank El Clot Store’s web indicates that the office provides “Personalised Attention, An Appointment Service and 24h Cash Machines”

Moneygrabbers can vouch that the bank does have ATMs and that appointments apparently can be made – even though Mr. Masip’s own calendar appears so full as to make him seemingly more difficult to speak to than Isidro Fainé...

So, we can only assume that this is all part of Masip’s “Personalised Service” and therefore a choice specific to this one specific disgruntled client.

So, what’s the problem?

The client in question has never asked for or received special treatment throughout his time living in Spain. He has never needed to and before Mr. Masip, and has never felt any discrimination from anyone. Never.

So, come on then Masip... Time to tell the truth! What’s the problem?

Being British? Being a foreigner? After Brexit, no longer being a European?

Because this client values more his Queen (and now King) than Caixa’s boss’s purse strings?

We have not brought this up before but... We can also indicate that we run two companies and have company accounts for both at La Caixa, all family members have accounts at CaixaBank which total a modest amount. We are even shareholders!

But Masip refuses to answer me. Is it really a “Personalised Service”?

He does very occasionally answer my wife’s emails. And he sometimes answers our employees emails regarding business accounts... But, for whatever reason, he ignores me.

We have no understanding of his choice but honestly now think it’s time someone at CaixaBank stepped up and checked out Mr. Masip’s deplorable behaviour and put an end to this disgraceful treatment. No one deserves this treatment.
