CaixaBank Director ignores client rather than admit own fault

As Moneygrabbers has determined from the Official Spanish Mercantile Register, Mr. Iván Masip Bes, Director of the CaixaBank “Store”-Office in El Clot, Barcelona was charged with upholding CaixaBank’s values subsequent to his being named in the “BOE” of the 20th October 2015.

This may well have been a good day for Mr. Masip but it is undoubtedly the start of considerable disappointment for CaixaBank clients.

Moneygrabbers has ascertained that since Mr. Masip’s arrival at the “Clot Store” office in summer 2022, the office has had to pass on commercial accounts (ie. businesses) to other offices.

It would be imprudent of us to assign any blame directly on Mr. Masip for this reallocation of customers but it is certainly not surprising when we take into consideration the apparent methodology he has adopted when faced with client problems.

A disgruntled CaixaBank client called and wrote to Mr. Masip on some 20 occasions, to try to solve multiple issues and to ensure that Mr. Masip was indeed following the client’s instructions. Sadly, only one response was received -a single email promising to get back to the client. Of course, this communication never materialised and the instructions were never followed. Mr. Masip’s policy was clearly to hope that ignoring the problem and the client they might go away. Is this CaixaBank’s policy too? We would sincerely hope not.
